idnight Generation is a band originally from Chihuahua and one of the Mexican referents of the new Indie movement, leading them to position themselves again with their new album that is on its way, presenting their second single called Back To Love. The band started the journey of their new sound and material by presenting the first single, “Good Intentions,” in New York during the Latin music conference LAMC, where they triumphed and were called the revelation band.
After having conquered several achievements such as sold-out shows at the Metropolitan Theater in Mexico City, BB Auditorium, and Indie Rocks in two shows, continues to present non-stop throughout the country, as well as in several Latin American countries, they present this September 20, 2024, the second single “Back to love” of what will be their new material. “This song is a feel-good song; we have returned to make music simply and, returning to our origins, with textures and classic sounds in our style,” comments Fernando Mares, vocalist and leader of the band. “This song has a very special flavor; we have been listening to much music inspired by influences like Bee Gees or Electric Light Orchestra.”
MG has established itself as one of the most important bands within the Indie Pop electronic genre in Mexico and Latin America during the last four years. In Latin America, they have performed at festivals such as Veltrac Music Fest in Lima, Quito Fest in Ecuador, Estereo Picnic Festival in Bogota, and Timeless in Barranquilla, among others. They are also preparing their next show on November 1st to accompany ZHU at the Palacio de los Deportes.
