Before you freak out and go into deep WTF! mode, relax and take a breath… fortunately for us (and maybe unfortunately for former Mrs. Federline)- nope, the Scottish band was not involved in an all-night rump shaker bump and grind with the “recovering” poptart. Instead, the rockers did the unthinkable during their BBC Live Lounge Sessions and did a cover of Britney Spears’ song “Womanizer” off of her latest “comeback” album Circus. For some odd reason, “Womanizer” has become the cover song du jour of many bands and artists out there… Franz Ferdinand are neither the first nor the only ones to have a take on that jam, All-American Rejects, Lilly Allen and Fall Out Boy are some of the atrevidos that have shown their love for the womanizah. So far, Franz Ferdinand’s rendition es la que suena menos peor… ch-ch-ch-check it out!
