Palenke Soultribe brought their “gozadera” to Los Globos Night Club last Thursday night to celebrate the release of their new album Mar.
In front of an enthusiastic crow and members of the press, Andres “Popa” Erazo and Juan Diego Borda, along with guest musicians that included Mr. Vallenato, gave an electrifying performance unlike any other.
Although synthesizers and sequencers powered a large part of the musical mix, the live drums, percussion, and bass that were included in the showcase added a powerful element that transcended beyond the usual Palenke Soultribe sounds.
In support of the release, Palenke Soultribe will embark on a European tour next month.
The band is currently offering fans the opportunity to participate in the upcoming video of its new single “La Gozadera”. If interested, fans should submit a video in which they are dancing, singing, or joking around the song. Lip syncing is encouraged.
All videos need to be submitted to [email protected] by April 30th for consideration. The chosen fans will receive a digital copy of Mar.
