In 2010, a few of the strongest makers of Mexican rock & roll joined forces to create Volcán: a rock-heavy band with a mission to make amps tremble in despair.

Formed by Ugo Rodriguez (Azul Violeta, Yoyo Breakers), Nacho “El Implacable” Gonzalez (Cuca, Forseps), Armando Chong (producer), Balter Dominguez (Sutra, La High) and Andres Orozco (Sutra,  Blunt Reynolds), the band is set to represent the genre of hard rock at this year’s Vive Latino music festival in Mexico City.

With their long-awaited upcoming album out after the Vive Latino festival, Volcán is celebrating their participation in Mexico’s most important music event by promoting “Nada me transtorna”, the second single from the album. “La Sal”, the album’s first single, was released in 2011.
