“Shut Up And Play The Hits”, A Concert Film From LCD Soundsystem 
 

“Shut Up and Play the Hits”, a concert film from LCD Soundsystem, documents the band’s final show at Madison Square Gardens on April 2nd, 2011. The film premiered at Sundance in January of this year showcasing an intimate portrait of the band’s founder and frontman James Murphy. In the documentary, Murphy is seen confronting his decision to end the American dance-punk band.

Directed by Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern, “Shut Up and Play the Hits” has already had a very successful run in US cinemas. In the UK, it will be shown for one day on September 4th.
As of August, 20th, fans of LCD Soundsystem can pre-order the DVD or Blu-Ray of the documentary through PledgeMusic to receive access to a wide range of premium offers.
The DVD and Blu-Ray releases of the film will feature a 3-disc package including a 90-minute documentary and near 4 hours of concert footage, photo stills, outtakes and art cards.
