
Much like the forefathers of the psychedelic music, which united youth around the world with song, Santoros hopes that their forthcoming album, Ancestros, will also serve as universal.
For nearly two years the band has been trying to release their first LP and will finally claim successful with its release on November 15, celebrating with a party at Los Globos in Los Angeles.
The Echo Park based masters of disaster titled the album in honor of their ancestors, which according to them, inspired the band to create the type of music they’ve been playing in the local L.A. circuit since 2009.
Electric guitars, complex song structures and extended instrumentals drive the music of the band, which is inspired heavily by early rockabilly and the rock and roll movement that took over Mexico City, primarily, in the early 1930’s.
Most recently, the band headlined Al Borde’s Day of the Dead Music & Art Festival where hundreds of attendees caught a glimpse of their forthcoming release. Below is yours.
