Rolling Stone will release its first-ever special edition dedicated to Latin music, this Friday
On Friday, Rolling Stone will release its first-ever special edition dedicated to Latin music. The Nov.22 issue will be the first in the 45-year history of the magazine to have articles written in English with interview snippets in Spanish. The issue will also include a 15-page “Latin Hot List” featuring Latin Alternative favorites including Calle 13, Café Tacuba, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Manu Chao and Aterciopelados.
Daniel Craig as James Bond is featured on the cover of the historic issue, but in a secondary cover on the back page is mega star Pitbull. The Rolling Stone issue targeting acculturated Latinos is expected to be a collector’s item.
The publication recently hailed Café Tacvba’s Re number one on its list of “The Greatest Latin Rock Albums Of All Time”.
