Mana Gets Inducted Into The Guitar Center RockWalk

Grammy winning rockers Mana, Grammy singer/songwriter Alanis Morisesette and rock group Rush have been announced as Guitar Center’s 2012 RockWalk inductees.

Guitar Center’s RockWalk recognizes artists whose musical contributions have made lasting impressions on the Rock ‘n’ Roll, Blues and R&B communities. Past inductees include Eric Clapton, George Martin, Jimmy Page, Iron Maiden, Carlos Santana, Johnny Cash, Van Halen, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, B.B. King, Stevie Wonder, Run-D.M.C. and Queen, among numerous others.
Each inductee will receive his/her own ceremony at the Guitar Center retail location in Hollywood. The ceremony is by invite only and will include a speech and ceremony in which the musicians’ handprints will be immortalized for fans who visit Hollywood each year.
Alanis Morissette will be inducted on August 21, followed by Mana on September 17 and Rush on November 20. All Guitar Center RockWalk inductees are chosen by past honorees allowing real music authorities to be the ones to measure their musical contributions.
Mana is currently preparing the release of their new album “Exiliados en la bahía”, which is a greatest hits compilation of the last three albums of the Mexican rock group. The album will be released on August 27.
