Los Fabulosos Cadillacs have broken a 10-year hiatus with their video release for their “La Luz del Ritmo” album single, Padre Nuestro. Directed by Luis Santos, the video includes a guest performance by Pablo Lescano of Argentinean band Damas Gratis, and is released in anticipation to the band’s reunion tour scheduled for ’09. New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Puerto Rico are among the cities that will host this concert series where “La Luz del Ritmo” tracks and other Fabuloso hits are sure to be on the set list.
Padre Nuestro serves as the band’s first single in more than 10 years following their 1997 “Fabulosos Calavera” album, and is set for release on March 10th. The 13-track album consists of new material, re-makes of the band’s classics such as “Mal Bicho” as well as covers of The Clash’s “Should I Stay or Should I Go”.
