Carla Morrion’s love hung melodies continue with Dejenme Llorar, the Latin Grammy nominee’s forthcoming album that is set for release early next year. The first single carries the same title as the album and is a duet with Leonel Garcia, former member of Mexican pop band Sin Bandera.

To be released under the Cosmica Records label, “Dejenme Llorar” was recorded in the singer’s apartment where Juan Manuel Torreblanca from the group Torreblanca and Andres Landon from Sonido Landon turned to non-traditional musical instruments such as pans and trash cans to capture rare and unique sounds. The single is available now via iTunes.

Dejenme Llorar suceeds Morrison’s Mientras Tú Dormías (While You Were Sleeping) album, which was produced by fellow Mexican indie songstress Natalia LaFourcade and garnered Morrison a 2011 Latin Grammy nomination in the Best Alternative Album category in 2011.
