Vans Warped Tour 2011

Gone are the days when Latin Alternative acts made the bill for the Vans Warped Tour party bus (remember Allison, Go Betty Go and Los Pinker Tones?). At least that’s the case for 2011. Nonetheless, VWT is a ride that everyone must get on at least once in their lives. The sun (bliss), the music (rock on), the noise (say what?), the outfits (oh no she didn’t!), the mosh pits (watcha trucha) and the beer garden (thirsty, anyone?), all coexist beautifully at the traveling music festival.

Going on now until August 14, VWT takes its music stages to cities across the US, and makes it first round of Cali stops this 4th of July weekend in Pomona, Mountain View and Ventura. New to VWT is the digital release of its handy event program, which can be viewed and downloaded here. Also, the official 2011 Warped Tour compilation 2 disc album, full with over 50 singles from 2011 VWT artists, is available for download through iTunes for $7.00.

A few of this year’s musical acts include Unwritten Law, The Devil Wears Prada, Attack Attack!, Paramore, Simple Plan, We Came as Romans, and A Day to Remember.

The remaining Cali shows are priced at $45.85 (Pomona), $45.00 (Mountain View) and $37.75 (Pomona), through LiveNation.com and Ticketmaster. Get your tix here and for full 2011 VWT dates, scroll below.
