Numerous Latin Alternative music heavyweights have been confirmed to participate in what will be the largest Latin Music and Arts Festival in the U.S. The TriTone Latin Music & Arts Festival is an ambitious project that aims to cater to the Latin Alternative So Cal community, replicating the format of already established music festivals like Coachella and Vive Latino.

The 3-day weekend music festival is scheduled to take place on October 19-21, 2012 at Prado Regional Park in Chino, CA and will be an all-day, outdoor venture featuring different genres of Latin music from alternative rock to urban and pop, represented by established and emerging bands from the Latin Alternative scene. Among them are Zoé, Ozomatli, Belanova, Moenia, Carla Morrison, Hello Seahorse and Chilean rock sensation Los Bunkers.
Inspired after its definition, TriTone derives from the breakdown of the word. Tri: Three, and Tone: guitar sound that implies three different musical intervals composed of three whole tones found on Western Music as well as throughout major genres within Latin Music.
A cultural expression art module consisting of gallery works, installations, interactive art and street art demonstrations will serve as visual backdrop to the ongoing live performances.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 29 at 10am PST on their official website @ tritonefestival.com. Presale general admission tickets are $119 while tickets last, and $169 thereafter; VIP Passes are $549. Camping and other key information for accommodations are soon to be disclosed.
