For rock fans in Los Angeles, nothing says Christmas like the announcement of the yearly benefit show presented by L.A.’s alternative rock station KROQ.
This year, the 23rd edition of the radio station’s Almost Acoustic Christmas show will benefit Para Los Niños, a Los Angeles based nonprofit agency that provides child care, schooling and other services to at-risk children and their families, and the Al Wooten Heritage Center, a youth center and afterschool program in South Central Los Angeles.
The two-night event will take place at the Gibson Amphitheater on December 8th and 9th. Tickets go on sale this Friday to members of the KROQ street team. Prices start at $79.75. The date for general sales tickets has not been announced.
