Make Music Pasadena 2012 Comes Alive, One Street Corner At A Time

Gustavo Galindo (Latin Pop/Rock), La Santa Cecilia (Pan American Rhythms), Gaby Moreno (Blues/Soul Latin) and Salt Petal (Tropical-tinged/Folk pop) will be our proud Latino representatives at Make Music Pasadena, a free, all day festival where music takes center stage in over 30 different pop-up platforms placed throughout the city.

The 5th edition of the music festival is presented in affiliation with KCRW (89.9FM) and will take place on Saturday, June 16 from 11am-pm.

Over 35,000 music enthusiasts are expected to witness the unfolding of hundreds of bands and DJs that are scheduled to performed in various non-traditional spots ranging from buses, public libraries and hidden hair salons to grandiose courtyards.

Make Music Pasadena is without a doubt Californian’s largest free concert that promotes an eclectic gathering of massive proportions where diversity is not only matched by its attendees but also by its performers.

Latin Alternative favorites Kinky, Natalia Lafourcade, Hello Seahorse and Carla Morrison have performed in the past years. For 2012, Canadian dream-pop sensation Grimes along with the Cults and Grouplove are said to headline the festival.

Make Music Pasadena is a fee, all ages event. No tickets or RSVP’s are required just simply show up and enjoy the show.
