This weekend it’s ever so clear that summer festivals are ready for take off. Make Music Pasadena, Viva Los Dodgers, the LA Film Festival, Mariachi USA, and the opening celebration for the Levitt Pavilion’s summer events series are forcing Angelenos to split themselves into pieces. This Sunday, June 19 from 4-7:00 p.m., attendees will welcome summer nights in Los Angeles to the beats of Very Be Careful and Azucar L.A.
As part of the Cumbia Festival kick-off event, attendees will enjoy performances by two of L.A.’s leading cumbia bands, and will be officially invited to the more than 50 scheduled performances that will make up the Levitt Pavilion’s 5th anniversary program that is being promoted as “The Art and Soul of L.A.”
The program is held from June to September, is open to the public and free of charge. Music- goers can choose from evening concerts, children’s concerts, family friendly showcases, and diverse performing held at the MacArthur Park venue.
