High on a dose of summer concerts is another of Al Borde’s Day of the Dead Festival Alumni. This time it’s La Santa Cecilia who have booked the next few weeks with dates that are sure to garner the Latin-infused alternative band more fans to its following.

Aside from the Grammy nominated band’s July 10th concert @ The Littlefield Performance & Art Space in NYC before their July 11 LAMC showcase, they’ve also confirmed their participation in the kick-off date for the fifth annual Flights & Sounds Summer Festival, which runs from Thursday, August 2 to the 30 at the Orange County Great Park. Each weekend the festival will present a musical tour with the performances of a diverse mix of internationally acclaimed musicians, dancers and exciting new artists.

The live music for the five-week festival begins at 8:15 p.m. Dance instruction will be provided on select nights beginning at 7:45 p.m. The Hangar Café opens at 6:15 p.m. before all shows and will feature a fresh selection of food and beverages. Admission is free, and parking is $10.
