Bring yo’ kids. Bring yo’ wife: AlBorde.com Presents Day of the Dead Music and Art Festival

Legend has it that the halls of East Los Angeles’ El Gallo Plaza are walked by spirits. If true, then on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2011, those lost souls will not walk alone.

Join AlBorde.com in a celebration of Day of the Dead where music, food, art and dance will generate an evening of jubilation and cultural awareness.

The 7th Annual “Day of the Dead Music and Art Festival” will challenge your mosh and dance moves with Mexico City’s irreverent metal-cumbiancheros band El Conjunto Nueva Ola.

And to satisfy hungry and thirsty souls, complimentary sweet bread and tamales, along with a selection of sponsor-presented beverages will keep attendees celebrating until supplies last.
In true AlBorde.com fashion, the “Day of the Dead Music and Art Festival” supports independent talent and local artists by providing a space for vendors to sell their Day of the Dead merchandise, and showcase their skill through an altar and art competition.

Times are tough, we know! That’s why our events are ALWAYS free. Save your cash for the onsite vendors and to buy us a round of drinks after the event.

RSVP here. This event is open to the public.
