After HARD Day Of The Dead last fall, we knew that we had to attend the next HARD festival! Well, it’s a good thing the 7th annual HARD Summer Festival is around the corner on Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3. Will you be there?
If you have attended a HARD festival, you already now how massive the event is. Last year the festival featured four stages with headliners Knife Party, Duck Sauce, Dog Blood, Justice, Bassnectar and Empire Of The Sun.
Get this: this year they have added a stage and added more performers!
HARD is a dancer’s dream: five outrageous stages with over 75 talented performers.
Headliners this year include: Jack U (Skrillex and Diplo), A$AP MOB (all are confirmed to perform), Axwell, Flosstradamus, Tiesto (yes, the man himself), Disclosure, Nero and Dillon Francis.
The talent does not stop at the bold and big names though. Remember when Dillon Francis was at the bottom, printed in the tiniest font for HARD 2012? Yep, you have to pay attention to the uprising DJs and producers, as they will be headlining next year’s festivals – no doubt.
Last year about 70,000 fans attended, raiding all of L.A.’s Historic Park. Although the down town scenery will be missed, this year’s new venue features a bigger and greener environment. More space equals more dancing space. Alas!
The new location, over at the Whittier Narrow Recreation Area, features one hundred acres of dance space and is located in South El Monte. The first DJ/producer starts each day at noon and it the event is open to adults 18 and over.
The 2-day general admission tickets (18+) as of right now cost $185 and the 2-day VIP tickets (21+) cost $285. There are still single day tickets available for the Saturday, August 2 for $90. Get your tickets before it’s sold out! Single day Sunday tickets are already sold-out. Oh, maybe it has a little to do with legend Tiesto!
