This is a big deal for EDM lovers because it is the first Electronic Dance Festival in Mexico! Yes, Insomniac Events, with the help of OCESA, finally brought it over to Mexico City at the Autodromo Hermandos Rodriguez. The electric sky will be illuminated in the weekend of March 15th and 16th with featured DJ/producer Avicii.
Other talented DJs that are featured in this diverse line up are Bingo Players, DJ Snake, Flux Pavilion, Mat Zo, Steve Angello, and Zeds Dead. Don’t know who they all are? No worries. What is EDC?
EDC stands for Electric Daisy Carnival – it is a music festival full with talented artists – anywhere from mainstream pop music to underground breaking artists. It’s a festival like no other: it incorporates theatrical dancers and massive LED beams. They take you out your normal life and for a weekend you are in wonderland. Along with the music and theatrical feel, expect stations to recharge your phones, make kandi bracelets, hydrate and rides. It’s like Disneyland when you were a little kid.
