DELUX

Pop punk rock band Delux is coming to present their latest music at the Mas Musica Festival on June 29.

Delux is guitarist and singer Leo Ramirez, bassist Jesse Crumb, drummer Damian Davila and guitarist and singer Mo Perez. They were founded in the year 2000, originating in Tijuana. They are heavily influenced by punk rock and the 80’s new wave. They are currently independent but have already toured in 15 tours including the Warped Tour in 2005, and have played more than 500 shows throughout their career as a band.

Their first self-titled album that came out in 2003 sold more than 30,000 copies which set their independent level up to a new high. After their stepping stone, they released their sophomore Entre la Guerra y el amor on 2007 partnering up with Song BMG, where they not only sold discs in Mexico, but also sold discs in the U.S. and Canada. In 2011, they released their most recent album titled ‘$’.

They have also collaborated for the Juan Gabriel tribute Amo al divo de Juarez along with bands such as Panteon Rococo, Pambo, Allison, Pastilla, Playa Limbo to name a few. The track that they contributed with was “De mi enamorate.”

Expect a good time at the Mas Musica Festival, where other performers include Panda, Forever Farewell, Gallo and Kolo Barrera. This event is to be at the House of Blues on Sunset Blvd.
