h3>Kinky has announced their new album ‘Sueño De La Maquina’ will be released via Nacional Records on July 17, 2012.

The new album ‘Sueño de la Maquina’ was produced and mixed by legendary Dust Brother, John King, who has produced Beck, Rolling Stones and Beastie Boys. The album was mastered by Howie Weinberg, whose credits include iconic albums like Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Nirvana’s Nevermind and U2’s Pop.

More than 10 years ago, Kinky submitted a demo to the LAMC, where they won the conference’s prestigious “LAMC Discovery Contest“. At LAMC, Kinky first connected with British producer Chris Allison (The Beta Band, Coldplay) and recorded their self-titled debut album, which was received with rave reviews from both international and national press.  The album featured massive hit songs such as “Mas” and “Soun Tha Mi Primer Amor”.

To celebrate the album release, the Latin GRAMMY nominated quintet will headline a major show on July 14 at NYC’s Central Park Summer Stage during the Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC). Early bird registration for the 2012 LAMC is now open at http://LatinAlternative.com for $99, until May 31st. The event will take place on July 11-14 at the New Yorker Hotel.
