Mad Marionettes

Mad MarionettesMost artists and bands say they’re in the business because of their love of music, todo por el arte y por el aplauso del público.  You ask any of those celebs to give a free concert to be paid by applause y te van a mandar a chiflar tu flauta.  Well, believe it or not, there are still real artistes out there venturing in the world of music just because it’s something they’re passionate about, a clear example of that are the “Mad Marionettes”, straight from the Inland Empire.

Even though they have yet to release their debut album, their demo and several live performances han dado mucho de que hablar de esta banda.

Lo que los separa del resto del montón, aside from being talented and über passionate, es porque the “Mad Marionettes” musicalmente hacen lo que se les da la regalada gana.   They don’t follow any patterns and they definitely shy away from the conventional and are often breaking the musical norm, which is why it’s hard to label them under one specific genre.

Mad MarionettesThe “Mad Marionettes” are always experimenting with their approach to music, resulting in a cacophony of sounds that by themselves could result in atrocious calamities, but together they magically work together.  It’s the fusion of genres and unexpected styles that make this band sound so fresh.

Latin Alternative has seen its ups and downs and the coming and going of many acts, but “Mad Marionettes” are here for the long run. After all, how many bands do you know fuse almost to perfection rock/ pop/ Middle Eastern/ circus music and everything in between?

Sure, it sounds like the formula for a hell of a mess, but these guys from the Inland Empire know how to work it and deliver some f*cktastic jams.

Prepare yourself to enter the world of the “Mad Marionettes”.
