The bill is out. Latin indie-rock faves Aterciopelados, Babasónicos, Calle 13 and Zoé have been confirmed to participate in this year’s Coachella Valley Music & Art Festival. The April 16th weekend of music overdose marks the 11th year that the festival has brought hundreds of musicians from all over the world to play the 3-day affair. The Latin fave performances are spread out throughout the weekend with Calle 13 performing on the first night, which is headlined by Jay-Z, Aterciopelados and Zoé to play the second night featuring Muse, and Babasónicos to play the final evening closed by none other than Gorillaz.
Aterciopelados, Calle 13 and Zoé’s Coachella performances will serve as the bands’ first festival performances. The Mexican rockers, Zoé, have also booked a show for Monday, April 19th at Pomona’s The Glass House where previous Coachella secret shows have showcased The Black Keys and various other indie faves.
Tickets for the Coachella Valley Music & Art Festival go on sale Friday, January 22nd and tickets for the Zoé Pomona concert can be purchased on line as of now.
