La espera se ha agotado, acaba de comenzar LAMC, la conferencia de música alterlatina que este año celebra su décima edición con sede en The Roosevelt Hotel de Soho y conciertos en diversos escenarios la ciudad de Nueva York.
Como ha sido anunciado, las pre-inscripciones de este año cuestan sólo $100, gracias al patrocinio de la marca de whiskey Jack Daniel’s, sin embargo el costo de la entrada en taquilla es de $299. Con este pase, los asistentes tendrán acceso todos los seminarios, la exposición y los conciertos que son parte del programa.
Y aunque el concierto Fabulosos Cadillacs en el SummerStage de Central Park que encabezaba el cartel fue suspendido, Calle 13 se encargará de hacernos olvidar que LFC no pudo llegar a NY a cause de cancelaciones por la pandemia de gripe.
El resto es una ecléctica selección de artistas en los más diversos géneros que convergen alrededor de la etiqueta “Latin Alternative”, paneles de discusión acerca de tópicos actuales como la evolución de la radio, las redes sociales y cómo salir o continuar a flote en medio de la crisis económica actual, entre otros.
Sin embargo, el encanto principal de esta conferencia es el poder compartir con personas que tienen en común el amor o el interés por los sonidos y el nicho alterlatino, compartir ideas, contactos, cuadrar negocios, degustar música rica, conocerse y escucharse en medio de la gran manzana.
