Fashion has never been just for the ladies. But whom are we kidding. A girl does love to dress up, and judging by the fall 2011 collections showcased during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, designers love to dress us up as well. For the next fall season, designers Christian Siriano, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenberg and Gwen Stefani, to name a few, showed that capes, ponchos, oversized sleeves, neutrals like black, browns, and greys should be taking up 85% of our closets. The remaining space should be suffice for the chunky shoes and large hats that apparently will serve as staple fall 2011 items as well. Oh, and yes. The skinnies and leggings are still in style, and if pulled off correctly, still very much unisex.
