If rock legends AC/DC didn’t get into your brain with their “Highway to Hell” and “You Shook Me All Night Long” hit singles, they will definitely get into your blood stream with their recently launched “AC/DC The Wine” collection.
In partnership with Austrian producer Warburn Estate, the heavy metal rockers put out four different varieties of wines: 2 dry whites and 2 dry reds. Playing on the group’s hit rock anthems, the released Back in Black Shiraz, Highway to Hell Cabernet Sauvignon, Hells Bells Sauvignon Blanc and You Shook Me All Night Long Moscato. The bottles feature images from classic AC/DC album covers.
At this stage the wine is an Australian release only, and only available at selected Australian wine retailers. Given the international interest, I wouldn’t be surprised to see this get a wider international release. Stay tuned!
