Fash mob at the L.A. County Fair presents 50 Dresses Spring 2012 collection

50 Dresses designer, Tess Vigil, presented her Spring 2012 collection amongst fried foods and fair rides at the L.A. County Fair on Sunday, September 25, 2011. The presentation was part of an avant-garde approach to fashion shows that production group Fash Mobs! has created, where unique public spaces in high-traffic areas are used to present Los Angeles fashion throughout the city.

Amongst the 50 Dresses pieces paraded throughout the fair where Vigil’s signature ladylike dresses that range from vintage to modern chic inspired. A tie-front dress which was seen on actress Alyson Stoner at the “Phineas and Ferb” premier was one of the pieces presented to the festival-goers as well.

50 Dresses sprung in 2010 out of the designer’s goal to create 50 dresses from her basement.  Now, her pieces can be purchased at the Audrey K. Boutique in Burbank, CA, and online through ModCloth, Ruche, and Fancy French Cologne.
