Tia Juana’s in Irvine has offers a little bit of everything for the hipsters and the beat-hungry danceaholics. It is a bit of a fresa place since KIIS FM and Super Estrella play an important role in promoting and hosting events at this place.
Regardless of its Top 40 and pop-ish cons, Tia Juana’s is a fun place to party. The music is okay, pretty much the same old stuff you listen to on the radio 24/7. What makes this place a decent party spot it’s the people and the ambiente that goes on there. There are few places where people don’t really care about “messing up” their look by dancing their socks off, this seems to be one of those few good ones. If you can look past the music you will really enjoy it and you’ll even surprise yourself once you’re singing along to the hottest song out there at the moment. If you go to Tia Juana’s on a Thursday, it’s “pocho” night, Top 40 en Inglés and what not. On Fridays and Saturdays its Casa de Tequila, o sea, Latino night. No matter which day you choose to go, be prepared to have a good time.
