The name says it all… la neta es que this joint is not for the faint of heart and the culinary prudes. In “Oinkster” you’ll find the ultimate burger joint where you can enjoy a deelish, truly home-made hamburger, some badass pastrami, scrumptious fries, and to top it off some ice cold chelas. Aunque muchos piensen que este lugar is nothing but a glorified “In-N-Out” or “Jim’s”, the only similarities they share is the fact that they’re known as hamburger hangout joints… fuera de eso, nada que ver. You’ve got to try it at least once, as this is one of the few places where you can really pig out without being judged or feeling guilty afterwards.

If there’s another thing tastier and more addicting than the home-made hamburgers at “Oinkster” is their Belgium fries… they seriously have got to be some of the best fries in the L.A. area… their natural cut fries are double fried, giving them an extra crispiness that will make you go bonkers.
Otra cosa chida de este lugar is the fact that they prepare their own ketchup, mustard and mayo… claro, que está de más reconocer que they prepare their food with top notch ingredients, all high quality and 100% natural and fresh.
With that in mind, with their wide selection of “dipping sauces” you’re in for a hell of a trip. They have homemade ketchup, chipotle ketchup, roasted garlic aioli, ancho-lime mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and Dijon-horseradish mayonnaise… even though all of them are tasty in their own way, la que se vuela la barda en cuanto a sabor it’s their chipotle ketchup.

Now, the hamburger will totally blow your mind. The burger royale is all you ever wanted a hamburger to be: a fresh, big and juicy beef patty (none of that pre-made or Costco stuff you get from other joints) on two scrumptious and soft buns… it comes with the usual lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. As simple as it sounds (and looks), you’ll be surprised by the quality and taste of it… es como si alguien de tu familia la hubiera preparado during one of those carne asada get-togethers.
Por si fuera poco, at “Oinkster” you’ll find a yummylicious pastrami sandwich that will give “Phillipe’s” a run for their money. Their pastrami sandwich comes with thin sliced, tender and perfectly spiced pastrami with caramelized onions and red cabbage slaw.
At “Oinkster” you’ll find the perfect balance between home-made American comfort food and a chill, no thrills no frills hang out spot.
Even though you might categorize this joint as “fast food”, their motto is “slow fast food”… so don’t complain about having to wait a bit for your food ya que la neta la espera vale la pena.
