You see, “MilK” is your typical coffee shop/ diner/ ice cream parlor but geared towards the MySpace Generation… so you get scrumptious food, deelish pastries, a nice coffee and badass home-made ice cream. At “Milk” you’ll find comfort semi-healthy food and calorie-defying dessert que te dejará chupándote los dedos.

Their menu is sprinkled with the delicious Angelino diversity… so you’ll find American food with an Asian and Latino flair.
Even with such variety, the food menu at “Milk” is rather limited, the items range from sandwiches to salads, and a couple of pastas and soups.
If you’re down for having a sandwich, their herbed roasted chicken breast sandwich and their media noche are the way to go.
The herbed roasted chicken breast sandwich comes with fresh mozzarella cheese, portabella mushrooms, tomatoes, and a deelish pesto sauce. The media noche on the other hand, comes with roasted pulled pork and ham with manchego cheese, pickles, and roasted garlic mayo.
Ahora que si quieres cuidar la linea and save most of your calorie consumption for desert, you can always go for a salad. Two light, fresh and deelish choices are the California chicken salads and the tuna salad.
The California chicken salad comes with a citrus marinated chicken breast with mixed baby greens, garbanzo beans, green zucchini, fresh tomatoes and a refreshing lemon vinaigrette. The tuna salad Nicoise also comes with mixed baby greens, green beans, olives, baby tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs, potatoes, balsamic vinaigrette, and of course a generous portion of fresh and well seasoned tuna.
The Dessert
Now if you’re planning a visit to “Milk”, make sure you’re not on a diet and/or too full to sample at least a couple of their yummylicious treats.

You get your ice cream of choice: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry or cookies n’ cream. You can also build your own ice cream sandwich with any of their freshly baked, straight-out-of-the-oven cookies and your choice of ice cream.
If you have the sweet tooth of a lifetime, nothing will satisfy you more than a Banana dulce de leche almond, in which you get banana cake with banana ice cream, dulce de leche center, covered in caramel whipped cream, rolled in candied almonds, and topped with butterscotch dipped frozen banana slices… if that doesn’t make your heart skip a beat, chances are you might have a chance at outliving Cher.
Last but not least, at “Milk” they bake a variation of the classic red velvet cake with their “Blue Velvet Cake”. This one will seriously take you on a sugar coma. It comes with white chocolate cream cheese frosting, three layers of blueberry chiffon cake and fresh blueberries.
You’ll definitely get your calcium fix and then some more at “Milk”… that’s fo’ sho’.
