The Basics: If you’re a typical guy’s guy or simply enjoy doing “manly” things every once in a while, then you’ll enjoy having a drink or six at “Lucky Baldwin’s”, a little pub in the SGV. This joint is your typical Brit pub meant for drinking excessively, hanging out, and watching sports. There’s really no décor, the place is dark, loud, and rowdy… y por si fuera poco it smells kinda funky. But then again, what would you expect from the ultimate guy hangout place, which is known for serving over 62 beers on tap? It’s seriously like beer heaven.

“Lucky Baldwin’s” is just one of those places you must experience at least once… especially if you’re into beer. Beware- this is definitely not the place to bring a date.

Another thing to watch out while visiting this joint is the fact that it’s small, thus it tends to get extremely crowded, especially during weekend nights.

The Carlsberg beer is a good way to get started. Now if you’re with a group of friends or on a drinking binge, a pitcher of Boddingtons is the way to go.

If you’re not that much into beer, yet you’re curious, go for the New Castle Summer Ale, which is quite refreshing.

Taking into consideration that after all, the joint is a bar, one with a funky smell for that matter, if you’re hungry or if you like to munch of food while drinking, stick to the typical “bar foods”.

Keeping in touch with their pub theme, “Lucky Baldwin’s” serves some really good fish and chips. Even though the fries are a little on the blah side, the fish comes with various dipping sauces that are surprisingly delicious.
