Hollywood is just like men in general- can’t live with it, can’t live without it. Tinseltwon is as addicting and inviting as a beer-pong match. Don’t be so harsh on yourself for falling victim of the Hollyweird spell, it’s not entirely your fault. After all, many great nightclubs, lounges, bars, venues and restaurants are there or at a nearby area for placement, and tourism attraction purposes. If you’re either in a hurry, feeling lazy or you just want to eat something light but that will satisfy you, you should try “Little Next Door Deli-Café”. This joint is no ordinary deli, and it certainly is nothing like Subway. Instead, “Little Next Door” is filled with french delicacies para satisfacer tu apetito feroz.
Ambiance
Just like most places in the Hollywood area, “Little Next Door” is frequented by scenesters, wanna be hipsters, aspiring actors, failed models, d-list reality schmos and the occasional celebutard.
Just like “Toast” and “Hugo’s”, “Little Next Door” is the place to see and to be seen. The outdoor patio is great for people watching and for those who can’t seem to put down the cigarro- definitely smoker friendly.
Not only that, but “Little Next Door” has a charming Parisian feel to it así como en el cine… and while the ambiance is chill and relaxed (perfect for a lazy meal), its location and appeal unfortunately make a douche magnet out of this joint. Be prepared to come across some minor divaesque stance from a couple of queens and higher than thou attitude de una que otra fulana.

If you’re going to “Little Next Door”, you can never go wrong with the popular and exceptional “Little Next Deal”, in which you get a soup, half a sandwich, and a salad.
The portions are not your regular restaurant monster servings, they are not big at all, pero tampoco están pequeñas, its just the right amount of food to satisfy you without leaving you with that nauseous, overindulged feeling.
“Little Next Door” has a wide selection of soups, sandwiches and salads, which make it a bit hard to decide on one item or another.
The butternut squash soup is a great choice- tiene buena sazón, and a rich texture that makes it more enjoyable.
There are two must-have sandwiches… cualquiera de los dos will drive your palate nuts. Si pareces ratón y comes queso a más no poder, you’ll enjoy the goat cheese sandwich- with a more than generous serving of goat cheese, olive tapenade (puréed olives, capers, anchovies and olive oil), and artichokes. Ahora si quieres un poco de proteína y sabor to go along with your meal, the prosciutto di parma wrapped chicken breast sandwich will do the trick- a rather small chicken breast wrapped in prosciutto, on a lightly toasted fresh french baguette, with melted provolone cheese, arugula, and a sundried tomato pesto que te va a hacer alucinar de tan bueno que está.

Como siempre, the best part of the meal comes at the end. If you have an insatiable sweet tooth, it will be slightly tamed. after having some “Little Next Door” delicacies.
They have one of the best crème brûlée in the area… if you want to try them, try getting there early since they have limited stock.
If you’re ready to die and go to heaven, then you must order the pomegranate cheesecake- so light, almost mousse-like, very creamy, with just the right amount of sweet and tartness to it and a thick graham crust that keeps everything together… this cheesecake will definitely drive you crazy.
Ahora que si no quieres entrarle duro a los panecitos y a lo dulce, you can get some macaroons and still get your sweet fix without being too much of a fatty- the mocha and dulce de leche macaroons are beyond yummy.
