Jack n Jill's TooWith businesses going down the drain left and right, many of us are starting to lose our cool and have started questioning when things are going to start getting better.  For those businesses that are still standing pero que se encuentran en la cuerda floja, les quedan dos opciones: close their doors for good or re-invent themselves; the folks at “Jack n Jill’s Too” chose to do the latter. “Jack n Jill’s Too” was previously simply known as “Le Creperie”, a quaint cozy place known for its crepes, hence the name.  In spite of the name change, crepes are still their main forte, but now they have added new delicacies to their menu.

Change and crepes

The folks at “Jack n Jill’s Too” not only have a new name and new items on their menu, they also remodeled the place, giving it a more modern and chic yet cozy and comfortable look.

“Jack n Jill’s Too” maintained some of the old restaurant’s charm since it’s still very cozy, the staff is friendly and very helpful, and the ambiance is beyond relaxing.

The ambiance at this joint is perfect for breakfast, lunch, brunch or simply for a dessert-and-coffee chit chat with some cuates, which works even better with the new and improved menu at “Jack n Jill’s Too”.

Le food

If you like crepes or even if you’re not too familiar with crepes, “Jack n Jill’s Too” tiene comida y crepas para todos los gustos. In addition to crepes, they also serve salads, wraps, sandwiches, and even pasta.

But again, the thing to eat at “Jack n Jill’s Too” are the crepes. There’s the typical sweet, fruit-filled crepes and then there’s everything else, they literally prepare them with everything.

evangeline crepeOne of the most popular items at this joint is the “Evangeline Crepe”, y no por nada- it’s beyond yummy.  This particular crepe is stuffed with chicken, artichoke hearts, cheese, tomato, and it’s topped with spinach sautéed on a creamy mushroom thick sauce.

Lo chido de estas crepas es que, even though it might seem like a little itty bitty serving of food, te dejarán satisfecho.

Now if you can only eat your crepes when they’re stuffed with fruit and other sweet goodies or you simply don’t feel like having a full blown meal on a crepe, the “Golden District Wrap” is the way to go.

The “Golden District” comes with tender and juicy rotisserie chicken, lettuce, tomato and all the shebang all topped with “Lousiana seasonings”… who knows what those are, pero los mentados “Louisiana seasonings” make this wrap a total hit. A great companion to your “Golden District” wrap is the “Pecan Citrus Salad”- extremely crisp and fresh.

Le dessert

If you had your lunch on a crepe and can’t put yourself together to have a dessert crepe, not everything is lost for you since “Jack n Jill’s Too” serves a magnificent and very addictive banana pudding- so good you could eat that 24/7 and still want more.

Now, there are many dessert crepes to choose from, pero la que más golosos atrae es la “Chocolate Banana Cream Crepe”. Si con el nombre no te bastó para querer ordenar una y comertela de un mordisco then you have some serious issues.  The “Chocolate Banana Cream Crepe” is a little piece of heaven all chocolate lovers and anyone with a terrible sweet tooth will cherish.
