Brass Elephant is part of the Aztec Hotel. Even though its looks might be deceiving, once you go through that door you change your mind about the place. Brass Elephant is a humongous place; at the very entrance you’ll find the always busy and fully stocked bar, some pool tables, even a popcorn machine. They usually have pretty decent bands playing on the main bar. The place also has a “restaurant” section that serves as snack bar and as the ultimate destination to people that had one too many drinks.
The outdoor patio is almost everybody’s favorite place since its extremely big- it’s equipped with lots of tables and chairs, and in the middle there’s a bon-fire that warms up the place when it gets too cold.
Another thing about Brass Elephant that attracts a big load of people is their karaoke bar, located at the opposite end of the patio. Even though it’s not as big as the main bar, it’s equipped with a bar, several tables, a stage and a mini-dance floor for people to dance to whatever anybody is singing. The karaoke bar is usually packed since it’s popular for its music selection. There’s seriously a little bit of everything: The Beatles, Guns N’ Roses, Greenday, Shania Twain, even Britney Spears.
Their drinks are okay, they are not pricey at all and they’re very strong. A must try for the ladies is Brass Elephant’s “Blowjob shot”, their take on the “Adios Motherfucker” is quite extreme, so you might want to stay away from those, it’s seriously a dead sentence, one of those and you’re gone.
