Once again, the Corey Helford Gallery has managed to put together a superb collab exhibit featuring new works by three renowned artists: Dave Burke’s “Heavy Petting, Mia’s “Riddles in the Dark”, and “Keep It Down” by guest artist Sarah Folkman. Even though all three artists are have different styles and techniques, these talented and diverse artists play an important part in the Los Angeles New Fine Art Movement. Not only will you be able to check out some new and interesting art, you’ll also be part of art history as the Corey Helford Gallery proudly hosts this one of a kind major art exhibit.
The main gallery will be housing Dave Burke’s first solo show “Heavy Petting”, who is presenting load of vibrant acrylic-on-canvas works filled with pop culture references, surrealism, and lots of humor through his unique “characters” that range from giant pets to adorable dominatrixes, and even some vampires the Twitards would love.
“Riddle in the Dark” marks the return of Mia to the Corey Helford Gallery. This exhibit features acrylic-on-panel paintings all inspired on the myth of “Pandora’s Box”.
Last but not least, in “Keep It Down”, guest artist Sarah Folkman will be showing her new collection of nature-inspired paintings in the loft.
