La Luz De Jesus Gallery is proud to host two trippy and out of this world exhibits by Canadian artiste Robert Pasternak and by Martha Rich, straight from Philly. Even though both artists are presenting an exhibit of their own with no particular theme bringing them together, their particular style and love for all things abstract aides these two exhibits flow and work as one. Robert Pasternak’s “Doors of Perception” and Martha Rich’s “Nice School” easily become one of the few must watch art exhibits of the year. Their take on surrealism, all things abstract and ethereal make of their twisted reality a mind blowing art exhibit, y lo mejor de todo es que you don’t have to spend one dime to check it out.
As it is with all surrealist artists, when you see an exhibit by Robert Pasternak, you must have an open mind and prepare yourself to see things que te dejarán con el ojo cuadrado.
While Robert Pasternak keeps things in a broad perspective, emphasizing only on consciousness, the mind, and energy, Martha Rich’s “Nice School” is a tad more focused theme-wise.
In “Nice School”, Martha Rich explores the why’s on being nice… everything of course with a distorted yet refreshing twist.
