If the name sounds familiar, it’s because it is… Mr. Eno has worked with the likes of U2, Talking Heads, David Bowie, Sinéad O’Connor, Coldplay, Dido, and Natalie Imbruglia, among others. Even though this British musician has made a name for himself through his work as composer, producer, and singer, está entrando en una nueva faceta, ahora como artista in the digital art realm with “77 Million Paintings”, exclusively showing at the University Art Museum at Cal State Long Beach as part of a fundraising event to support the arts. Despite the title, one thing you won’t see at this exhibit is paintings… there’s no canvas in sight. Instead you get along with a couple page-size prints, a (badass and relaxing) light-and-sound installation that will transport you to Brian Eno’s world… in and out of his head.
If you’re a fan of his work, you’re in for a hell of a treat, since you’ll get a glimpse of music and art coming together in a visually orgasmic way.
