Moises Baqueiro – A bassist for 15 years, Moises is perhaps best known as “Vira Lata” of LOS ABANDONED, but he has also achieved critical acclaim and recognition in several other projects including BAYÚ, SATÉLITE and, most recently, EL QUICKIE, TORINO and LOS ULTRAS. After performing as a bassist and a “side project man” for several years, Moises is currently trying his hand as a Music Producer.
Enrique “Bugs” Gonzalez – “Bugs” Gonzalez has been playing drums professionally for over fifteen years, eight of those (1997 – 2005) with Mexican rock group JUMBO. “Bugs” is also a Yamaha drumset artist (since 2002) and an active clinician whose credits include Yamaha Groove All Stars 2008, Expo Soundcheck 2005, Yamaha’s Groove Night 2003. As of 2007 he acts as Musical Director and Drummer for Latin Pop Artist Aleks Syntek.
Oscar “Teme” Loera – Oscar Loera is the keyboardist/guitarist for the local ska group CHENCHA BERRINCHES, whose intense fusion of ska, metal, jazz, and reggae beats – appropriately coined by them as “Mexiska” – has earned them a devout following. Currently CHENCHA BERRINCHES are in the studio working on their new album titled “Evilution”, which is set for release in October 2009.
Cesar Villa – Cesar is the vocalist and a founding member of FATIMA, one of the great Alternativo rock groups that has been making waves since it splashed onto the scene in 2001. Having gained a loyal following across the US with their unique hybrid of metal/punk/pop/rock-infused beats, FATIMA has also captured the hearts of metaleros south of the border, and managed to headline a tour across Mexico in 2008. The group plans to return to Mexico in October 2009 for the official release in that country of their latest album, Escúchame.
Christian Mejia – Christian Mejia represents the LA-based rock trio NEBLINA, rock & roll legend JAVIER BATIZ, and LOVE STAR (formerly GRITO MUTUAL). Christian also works as a promoter and event producer, having recently produced a show with MONTE NEGRO at the Ventura Theatre. Currently, Christian is busy putting together “A One Night Stand with LOS BURBANKS”, which is set to rock the King King in Hollywood on Sept. 6th.
Melinda Torres – Melinda Torres is the co-owner of A&M (Art & Music) Entertainment, an independently owned company that has been producing and promoting events since 2003 with bilingual L.A. based ska, alternative, indie, cumbia, reggae, punk and rock bands. The company also offers promotional services, such as photography, event planning, marketing, email blasts, graphics, printing and street team promotions. A&M Entertainment has thrown events with International acts: VICTIMAS DEL DR. CEREBRO, TEX TEX and SONORA DINAMITA. Local artists are often given opportunities to open for such artists.
