After playing to sold out houses in San Fransico and Los Angeles, Enrique Bunbury has launched his new video, “ Prisioneros ”, the fifth single and video from the current album Palosanto.
For the video and single, Bunbury has released an alternate version of the song; this version is an acoustic version with just a single guitar.
The video, which was directed by his life partner, Jose Girl, has a very simple approach, a somber Bunbury sitting on a bed playing his acoustic guitar. The simplicity of the video and song version brings out the passion and strength of the lyrics.
Bunbury’s American leg of the Palosanto Tour continues through the Midwest and east coast with the following concerts:

The Tour will then head down to Mexico where he will be joined by his friend and Argentine rock icon, Andres Calamaro. This week it was confirmed that the Bunbury & Calamaro Tour will end in Tijuana B.C. on Saturday November 8th.
In December, Bunbury and Los Santos Inocentes will head back to his native Spain for a second leg and to make up some of the shows that had to be cancelled due to guitarist Jordi Mena’s health problems right before the beginning of the first Spanish leg of the tour back in June.
