Shakira just announced that she and her partner, Spanish footballer Gerard Pique, are expecting their first child. Through a message posted on her website, the Latin superstar also announced that she will be cutting down on her work schedule for the next few weeks and will no longer participate in the iHeartRadio Music Festival at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino this weekend in Las Vegas.
This news comes only days after the confirmation that she is to replace Christina Aguilera in season 4 of “The Voice”, same in which Usher will replace Cee Lo Green.
