From the makers of Metropoli comes Lujuria (lust), a brand new all Spanish inclusive event by Fancy Güey and La Muy Muy bringing you the best and latest indie “en español” party at the ultra-posh Naya Lounge in Silverlake.
This event will be already celebrating its fifth consecutive month on Friday, October 12th with an advanced Halloween/Dia de los Muertos edition featuring Kolo Barrera from Audio Elemental Radio/Exitos as guest DJ playing some of his most popular horror inspired 80s nostalgia-pop mash-ups. An extensive preview of all the DJ’s sets is available to the public now through Spotify.
Lujuria is the continuation of a collective group of DJs, visual artists and friends who sought off to create a no cover, no profit (most of the time!) event where they themselves could perform and invite other local as well as international underground acts to do the same. It’s the only one-night event in L.A. where you can attend without cover and still enjoy some great music you won’t hear anywhere else but here first or at times even catch some live performances of promising bands like Verano Peligroso (Gil/Furland’s keyboardist and EsaMiPau!/Radio personality) who surprised Lujuria goers last month with a last minute DJ set of their underground tropi-cumbia project straight from Mexico City.
Don’t miss out on another great event this month and join us this October 12th for a luxurious night and just like their catchy slogan suggests, “ven y pasatela de lujo.”
