Like so many others, and apparently not quite enough, I was outraged by the comments Drumpf made when announcing his candidacy for President of the United States. And since then, it’s only gotten worse (just like the wall that apparently has gotten ten feet higher). I’d repeat them, but let’s face it, they don’t bear repeating, nor do I want to lend credence to the hateful speech that has been spread.
While I would like to believe that this, in some way, is just his pandering to the masses to further his own political career, the wins he was able to gain from Super Tuesday show that there is market for the empty promises a candidate such as Drumpf is making. If only we knew what was on that New York Times tape that is still unreleased, and apparently something Drumpf really wants to keep off the record.
However, a new voice has arisen to question the possibilities of a Drumpf presidency, so I’ll let John Oliver do the talking for me. Besides, he’s able to convey his message more succinctly than I ever could, and furthermore, he’s got more writers for more jokes.
