What makes it so cool?
It’s dust and water resistance. What does that mean? This simply means it’s been built to have partial (yeah, partial) protection from any dust that can cause harm to the device. The water resistance doesn’t mean you can go swimming with the phone in your pocket, but it will survive water at a depth of up to 3 feet for up to 30 minutes long.
Louder music! The iPhone 7 has two stereo speakers, one at the top and one at the base. It’s been reported that it will be twice as loud as the 6S. Turn up!
Longest-lasting battery. Sounds too good to be true but it’s not! You can now enjoy 2 hours more hours of battery life than the iPhone 6S. Try to remain calm.
What else is new?
Unlike previous iPhones, the iPhone 7’s camera sticks out. But this is good news because the camera now offers 50% more light and a better front camera. #SelfieGameStrong
No headphone jack?! Yeah, no more. It comes with what they call wireless “Lightning EarPods.” Good luck not loosing them. However, there is still an adaptor for standard headphones that is included. The EarPods run on their own battery, up to 24 hours on one charge, which can be charged in their box.
Brighter, bolder and clearer display. It comes with a 4.7-inch (334×750 resolution) screen.
No home button. All screen. To go Home, all you have to do is press harder. It’s a pressure-sensitive home button.
iOS 10. Siri just got smarter! The new update will allow Siri to control third-party apps now.
I heard it comes in new colors?
Yup! Two new black colors: Jet Black and Black. What’s the difference? The ‘Jet Black’ has a shiny finish to it, while the ‘Black’ has a matte finish. Don’t panic, you can also choose from silver, gold and rose gold.
Now for those that like the PLUS size iPhones, the 7 also comes in a PLUS size.
