3 Things To Do In Las Vegas Besides Walking The Strip And Getting Drunk

If you know how to “do” Las Vegas, you know that at least one time during your visit to Sin City, you need to roll baller status. The other is that, although you should always try to the get the most out of your visits, you should leave a few reasons to revisit. On that note, here are three things to add to your list of things to do in Vegas that you probably have not done.

#1: Shoot a Machine Gun

I like The Machine Gun store on Tropicana Avenue. It’s a little off the strip but worth it since they have a huge selection of weapons from handguns to fully automatic riffles to historic WWII assault weapons. Nothing gets the blood pumping faster than letting off 40 shots in 15 seconds. For their Coalition Package you get to shoot a Beretta M9 handgun, AR-15 Semi automatic and a M40 Fully automatic gun. Don’t forget to yell out “Get Some!”

#2: Drive an exotic car

If you pick-up a Vegas welcome package you’ll find a bunch of companies where you can ride luxury cars for a few hours. They’re all located at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. I suggest you get the 3-car ride and choose from a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Lamborghini Aventador or Ferrari 458 Italia for just $300. If you don’t have the budget for this just put $150 on black at the table and see if you come up with any luck.

#3: Ride Shot-gun in an F14

Yes. You can be “Goose” from Top Gun and build memories of a lifetime at 1,200 miles per hour in a Grumman F-14 Tomcat.  But try not to puke. There are two companies that offer this service in Las Vegas, both of them can be found in the Vegas book in which you can find coupons for the ride. But don’t let your honey hear you use the coupon when making reservations, that’s so not cool.
