Vega at SXSW

After her two presentations at the SXSW festival in Austin, TX, Spaniard singer, Vega, will be performing for the very first time in Los Angeles at Los Globos Night Club this coming Friday March 21, where she will be playing material from her latest album, Wolverines, an album co-produced with Sebastian Krys.

This is an important week for Vega, as she will not only be making her first performance in Los Angeles, I-tunes has chosen her single, “Wolverines” as “single of the week” and is available for free download in the U.S.  “Wolverines” was also recorded as a duet with iconic Spanish singer, Raphael.

Vega at Club Los GlobosDuring her stay in the American Southwest, Vega will travel through the famous Route 66 from Dallas to Los Angeles and will be making some stops along the way to record some improvised acoustic songs surrounded by the beautiful landscapes along route 66.

During an interview we had with Vega a few months ago, when the album first came out, she mentioned that this album was the most important of her career as this was not only the first album under her own label, La Madriguera Records, but it was also the album with which she planned to enter the always competitive Latin market in the U.S.

Based on the success of her performances at the SXSW festival in Austin, we can already foresee great success for this great Spanish singer.

Vega will be performing this coming Friday, March 21 at the Los Globos Night Clun and opening up the show will be Gustavo Galindo and Karolys.
