16th Annual Eagle Rock Music Festival (ERMF) is presented by Los Angeles Councilmember José Huizar and the Center for the Arts Eagle Rock .

The Eagle Rock Music Festival celebrates the diverse communities of Northeast Los Angeles by transforming six blocks of historic Colorado Boulevard into a vibrant celebration of music and culture, featuring some of the most influential artists, emerging talents, and genre-defying producers and DJs.

Buyepongo performing at Eagle Rock Music FestivalIn continuing the tradition of bringing together diverse musical styles, this year the Eagle Rock Music Festival will be showcasing several bands that have been regulars on Al Borde over the years like L.A. Latin music scene veterans, Quetzal, as well as newcomers like Viento Callejero, who along with Buyepongo will have everyone up dancing.  

Palenke Soultribe, the techno cumbia project led by Colombian born producers residing in Los Angeles, J. Borda and Popa along with their stage counterparts Argel Cota on drums and Clodomiro Montes on percussion will be bringing their “sabrosura” to the The Subtropical Stage after recently finishing a very successful summer tour of Europe. 

Closing out the Subtropical stage will be the collective of producers, DJ’s, live musicians and dancers, Subsuelo, who will bring their Tropical funk, cumbia, hip-hop and flamenco through their different components like El Canyonazo, Gozar, Gazoo and DJ Ethos and other members. 

Below is a breakdown of all the artists performing at the Eagle Rock Music Festival this Saturday:

 The Center Stage, at the heart of the Festival route, brings the irresistible talents of Aloe Blacc, Maya Jupiter, Quetzal, Taylor McFerrin, Exile with Dag Savage featuring Choosey, J Rocc, SoSuperSam, Myron & E and Ethio Cali.

Palenke SoultribeThe Subtropical Stage at Rantz Auto Center, features a sonic spectrum of global beats courtesy of Subsuelo, Buyepongo, Palenke Soultribe, Viento Callejero, and the Eagle Rock High School Latin Jazz Band.

The Experimental Stage, curated with the eclectic Dublab collective and located inside the Los Angeles Filipino-American Church, showcases an all-female lineup of artists including Cat 500, Anna Oxygen, Angels of Aumsphere, Nedelle Torrisi and White Magic.

The Americana Stage, housed in the historic Women’s Twentieth Century Club, will host modern folk favorites Triple Chicken Foot, The New Historians, Gypsies & Judges, and Honey.

The Family Stage, at Eagle Rock City Hall, presents a variety of family-friendly activities and programming; Craft with Center for the Arts Eagle Rock teaching artists and dance to performances by Mia Doi Todd, Bonne Musique Zydeco, Lily Beats, The Hollow Trees and laugh with Sock Puppet Sitcom Theater.
