Sonsoles

After the release of their first official video for “Mientras Te Vas” earlier in the year and headlining at the House of Blues in July, Sonsoles are ready to put together their next record and for that, they need your help in funding the album and you can do this by going to gofundme.com

Here is what the band has to say about why they decided to join GoFundMe:

For many days and countless nights we have been hard at work imagining, creating and putting the preliminary finishing touches on songs that we feel belong on our FIRST EVER FULL LENGTH ALBUM.

Recording an album is no easy feat. It requires a lot of resources that range from pre-production, studio time, equipment, a producer…etc. This is why we are reaching out to you: our friends, our fans, and people we’ve met along the way. We are asking for your gracious help that will put us in that studio crafting, what we feel, is our best work yet. We have poured our hearts and souls into these songs and the only missing link is you. Your generosity, your help, your donation will allow us to enter a studio, pick up our instruments, ready our voices and lay down tracks.

Think of your pledge as a pre-order of an album you would cherish. Cool prizes like a private show performance and exclusive Sonsoles swag are in store for specific pledge amounts. We would love to bring you along on this creative journey and your contribution will do just that.

We will be sure to keep you updated on the recording process through social media.

Please consider that we are not restricted by the conditions of a label; we are independent music makers. As such, Sonsoles is free to make the album we want to make!

We are ready, let’s do this!

Sonsoles

In my interview with lead singer, Jose Hernandez, back in May, he expressed that the new songs definitely had a more rock & roll sound with lots of guitars and rock energy and if that is the case we can expect to hear some more hard rocking music like that of their video “Mientras Te Vas”

If you have never seen Sonsoles perform live, you owe it to yourselves to catch this band live and you can do that this weekend at The Walnut Park Summer Concert Festival and the Latino Author Summit in Laverne.
