Los Angeles’ WEDIDIT collective has done it again.

The inspiring group of close friends does not fail in successfully delivering a dynamic crossover of electronic and ambient music. The idiosyncratic clique represents a different side of electronic music: a deeper, darker, and even more sensual side. Something rare to find and admittedly, easy to stay interested in.

Co-founder and producer Henry Laufer, better known as Shlohmo, released his sophomore album Dark Red earlier this month. A glitchy, yet soothing album that I’ve been waiting for, ever since he teased his fan base with rich in percussion track “Beams,” a few month ago.

Between the distortion of feedback, echoing guitar progressions and alarming synths, the man has delivered a cryptic album that only moves his music forward. It is pleasing to think that he is currently touring in a live band set, of which we can anticipate a dark atmosphere with minimal lighting and resonating drums. We’re ready for you, S.
