Latin Grammy Award winning musician, producer and multifaceted singer-songwriter Robi Draco Rosa returns with his latest album Vida, a personal celebration of life itself with the support of his closest friends and colleagues set to be release on November 13th 2012.
The album’s extraordinary artist-lineup includes collaborations with: Marc Anthony, Ruben Blades, Enrique Bunbury, Andres Calamaro, Tego Calderon, Calle 13, José Feliciano, Juan Luis Guerra, Juanes, Ricky Martin, Mima, Ednita Nazario, Romeo Santos, Alejandro Sanz and Shakira; all lending their voice and talent to the remaking of some of Draco Rosa’s greatest hits with its first Radio single release being “Penelope” featuring Mana’s Front man Fher Olvera.
Robi has been courageously battling cancer since 2011 and has dedicated much of his downtime to his rigorous treatment and recuperation with the exception of his last live appearance on March 30th at the Coliseo in Puerto Rico alongside Juan Luis Guerra & Ruben Blades. It is said that Angelo Medina, albums producer; suggested he took on the task of re-mastering and completing this project as part of his healing therapy.
Much of Robi Draco Rosas career has remained underground on despite of his amazing talent and world-wide recognition. His humble and private persona keeps intriguing his followers whom he personally keeps updated on his progress via his Twitter account sharing his hope and love for music and life.
