Earlier this week, Los Angeles popular radio station Super Estrella (107.1 FM) announced the line up for their annual concert celebration, El Reventón, to be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 at Staples Center
For the second time in the history of the concert, the lineup will be headlined by rock & roll musicians. Kinky, Moderatto, Mikel Erentxun, Beto Cuevas, Hombres G, Julieta Venegas, Los Enanitos Verdes and Café Tacuba have been confirmed.
Tickets to the general public will go on sale this Friday at 10 am through Ticketmaster with prices ranging from $49.25 – $186.30, plus fees.
Kinky will come to the Staples Center stage playing songs from their new album Sueño De La Maquina, which will be released in the U.S. on July 17th.
Moderatto will bring their big hair, make up and tights after touring with Alejandra Guzman earlier this year.
Mikel Erentxun is currently touring Spain in support of his latest album, the highly acclaimed 24 Golpes.
Beto Cuevas will have one his first appearances in Los Angeles in support of his new album, which will be released this summer and from which the single “Quiero Creer” has been out for a few weeks.
Hombres G will be back to L.A. after having played together last summer with Enanitos Verdes at the Gibson Amphitheater. Hombres G will embark on a tour that will take them through the major Spanish cities.
Enanitos Verdes will be back to the stages after taking a short break and will tour throughout the U.S and Mexico in September.
Julieta Venegas will returns to L.A. after playing shows in Europe, Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, and several stops in Germany.
After playing their first show after their well deserved break at the Smoke Out earlier this year, Cafe Tacuba will bring their good vibes and energy to close-out what promises to be a great night of good old “Rock en Español”.
